Pepe Mora is an Emmy Award-winning prosthetic makeup designer and member of IATSE 706, with over twenty five years of international experience across film and television.
He has worked at some of the world's leading effects studios — including Legacy Effects, Weta Workshop, Fractured FX, and Animated Extras — on productions for Lucasfilm, Amazon, Disney, Marvel, and Paramount. Based in Madrid with his own fully equipped prosthetic studio, he is available for productions worldwide .
He received an Emmy Award for his work on The Mandalorian, where he served as prosthetic makeup artist across thirteen episodes for Lucasfilm at Manhattan Beach Studios. His career spans some of the most ambitious productions in contemporary cinema and television, including Resident Evil (Sony), Predator: BADLANDS ( Disney) The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power (Amazon), Alien: Romulus (Disney), Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves (Paramount), Avatar: The Way of Water, Suicide Squad 1 & 2 (Warner), Captain Marvel (Marvel), Star Trek: Picard (CBS), Game of Thrones (HBO), and Penny Dreadful (Showtime).
A skilled sculptor and painter, he has collaborated with studios including Legacy Effects, Fractured FX, Autonomous FX, Creative Character Engineering, and Creature Inc. He trained at Gnomon School of Visual Effects in Los Angeles.
Currently based in Madrid, Pepe runs Gabinete Effects — his own prosthetic makeup studio — and teaches intensive courses in prosthetics for the next generation of FX artists.
